Meet Ocean! If ever there were a case of a name defining a destiny, Ocean Ramsey is all the proof we need! This magnificent marine maven is a free diver, marine biologist, and shark conservationist (all in a day’s work)! She spends up to 12 hours a day underwater interacting with some of the world’s most delicate environments and ecosystems, and is privy to a world many of us have never experienced.
Ocean’s made it her life’s mission to turn people’s fear of sharks into a loving compassion for some of Earth’s greatest creatures. Sharks are heavily impacted by human choices, and if the human population doesn’t make an active effort to change habits and lifestyles, these animals may not be a part of the world for much longer.
Ocean has started a dedicated research center to educate children and adults about the world’s oceans. It’s beneficial to the community, and inspires conservation efforts among everyone it touches. That’s how she likes to #DoGoodDoBeautiful.
