  I bought this product a week ago after desperately trying other natural remedies to treat my breakouts. I went out on a whim and got the spot treatment. They mean what they say about the 4 hours...you will see results! I liked it so much that I bought the deep pore wash today and I'm going back for the astringent.

  i'm 41 and experience hormonal-related (monthly) acne (not every month) and never more than two bumps at a time. sometimes i'll get one underneath my chin, other times right along the edge of my jawline. jawline acne is more difficult to calm down and dry up. a couple of days ago, i had two bumps that were tender and weren't going away. the other natural gel that i'd been using wasn't working to keep the inflammation down, so when i discovered this gel online, i bought it at my local whole foods. before i spot-treated the two bumps last night, they were both still slightly itchy and tender. this morning, there was no sensation left in either of them and they were visibly dried up and flat to the surface of my skin. DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THIS PRODUCT, AND DO NOT EVER CHANGE THE FORMULA ... please! :)

  This is an excellent alternative to spot treatment products with parabens and nasty animal products. I'd say it is 90 - 95% effective in reducing inflammation and redness within a day or two.

  This is a good product for acne, dried up acne and blemishes. I am from India and in my 40s. It works well. some of the old dried up acne marks have just peeled off!

  I got the complete line, cream wash + Scrub+astringent+this spot treatment, 4 days ago. BOY what a difference! Struggling with acne since I was 14, I'm 26, I was looking in the store once again for a new product to hopefully help me with my skin issues. I wanted to go natural so I decided to try ALBA after hearing many good things about the brand. I love this spot treatment! Its very effective and zaps those zips gently. My problem is that my skin usually gets very dry but still produces WAY too much oil. Well, this product does not over dry my skin and helps reduce the oil. Its perfect for those emerging zits! Plus, the fact that it is cruelty free, natural, and 100% vegetarian is AMAZING! I always avoid the peroxide acne treatments so it was great to find a product line with only naturally occurring acid. I love it so far, after only 4 days, I cannot wait to see how this line improves my skin in 8 days! Even if you do not need a complete acne line, which I highly advice if you have any acne, you could just get this spot treatment for those occasional zits, it really works!

  I don't know that this necessarily works better than other spot treatments that I've tried, however, it works just as good as any other AND it's a natural alternative. The plus also, is that compared to some other natural companies, this is a GEL instead of liquidy so it goes on MUCH easier. You are less likely to waste it, it goes on clear, and so far is lasting me a really long time. Absolutely worth the money.

  It says "max strength" on the label and they mean it! My zit was literally dried up the next day and totally gone by the following day. And loved that I didn't have to use the benzyl peroxide stuff that defintely isn't natural.
