| SKIN CARE | Rainforest Ingredients Açaí (ah-sigh-EE) has highly concentrated and a diverse range of antioxidants. Studies show that Açaí has 10x more antioxidants than red grapes. Antioxidants decrease cell destruction, which in turn combats the aging process and helps keep the body free from disease. Açaí is proving to be an excellent source of essential fatty acids, such as linoleic acid, omega-6 and omega-9. Andiroba Oil helps soothe and heal skin. Myristic acid contributes to the acceleration of healing of damaged skin. Copaiba (ko-pie-bah) resin has been used topically to treat a variety of skin ailments. Soothing copaiba with it's its bactericide, germicide and anti-inflammatory properties helps protect the scalp against dryness, itching and flaking. High levels of essential fatty acids provide softness and shine to the hair. Cupuaçu (koo-poo-ah-soo) butter is a rich emollient that delivers deep hydration and helps restore softness and elasticity. Cupuaçu has a high capacity for water absorption and helps to restore natural humidity and moisture to the skin and hair. Passion Fruit Oil has a calming and soothing effect on the skin. High in vitamins A, C and essential fatty acids this lightweight, easy absorbed oil makes it an excellent nourishing treatment for dry skin conditions. Tiger Nut is a reed-like tropical grass that grows from a tuber.
